has teased that fans can expect news on her new album to emerge "very soon".

Brandy Norwood took to her official Twitter account on Tuesday to provide followers with an update on her new material.

Brandy Norwood wrote "INCREDIBLE meeting at my NEW record label!! (You will know the details very soon) Shall I say the ALBUM is coming VERY SOON:) Smash!!!!! (sic)".

The Brandy & Ray J star also discussed the venture during a recent interview with Vibe magazine, promising that the project will be "rooted in R&B" and saying that she wanted to "deliver an album of substance, filled with heartfelt music and stuff [the fans] can dance to and feel good about."

Recently... Brandy Norwood will join Jennifer Love Hewitt and Santa at the Los Angeles Mission this Christmas Eve.

The Los Angeles Mission Christmas Eve Event will provide real relief for families and children with a delicious meal, generous donations of thousands of toys, coats for all guests and other gifts. Hundreds of volunteers from the entertainment industry, political leaders and others will bring the joy of the season to Skid Row.
